Angels fall to girls in black: 3-2

bondingWe won! Well done Leopards for beating St Aloysius Angels 3-2 on Saturday 23rd June. St Aloysius scored early but West Hobart quickly equalised. Alice Mary and Millie scored a goal apiece - however our sources can't remember who kicked the other one. Come on - own up!

On the small ground, defence could easily be turned into attack with the mighty kicking of goalie Alice Cox. In the first half, Lillie did a grand job defending Leopards' goal, even diving on top of one ball to save a certain goal. Anna Schurink-Muller chased the ball tirelessly and shows great improvement. Good on you, Anna.

Next week's match is again at Kingston, playing Calvin on Calvin school oval at 10am. Finally, here's the much-requested orange roster. Alice C's mum will be bringing the fruit to Calvin but check to see who's next. ORANGE ROSTER

First game - second term

Everyone was back for Wednesday afternoon training to be ready for this week's match against St Aloysius Angels at Kingston. Set those alarm clocks as the game starts at 9am. You head towards Kingston Beach then turn up the hill at the traffic lights and go along Roslyn Avenue for about 1km - St Aloysius is on the top side of the road.

Next week's game - Saturday 30th June - is against Calvin at 10am. Once again, the venue is Calvin School in Kingston. Here's the Term 2 roster to download from the Central Soccer website.
